Bethany Bomberger

Bethany Bomberger, Executive Director of The Radiance Foundation

For more than a decade Bethany has been an educator – encouraging and empowering others to pursue their life goals. She has spent years teaching in the classroom, coordinating educational programs and working with thousands of children, youth, and adults of all ages. Bethany’s experiences have led her to love and appreciate the uniqueness each individual holds.

Married to her best friend, Ryan, and mother of four amazing children, Bethany has experienced, firsthand, the joy of having an emotionally and spiritually healthy family. Recently, she and Ryan became blessed adoptive parents. They reside in Georgia – where she is pleased to never have to shovel snow!

Bethany completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Family Studies in 1997. She went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Education in 2000 from Regent University. Throughout the years, Bethany has spearheaded and implemented innovative programs in her classrooms and the communities where she lived. From talent shows to benefit concerts, scholarship programs to children’s camps, she has organized many successful endeavors. Bethany has also been featured in broadcast news segments for her work with Literacy Kits for Children in Afghanistan and the United Way Make a Difference Campaign.

Bethany and Ryan were instrumental in creating public exposure for a musically talented adoptive family of 13. The Bombergers’ efforts led the family to appearances on Showtime at the Apollo, Good Morning America, ABC Family’s “My Life is a Sitcom”, and Oprah.

Bethany’s teaching career has taken her to four states and six different grade levels – both in the public and private sectors. She has been a lead teacher for special needs inclusion and gifted classes. She has mentored hundreds of students and numerous teachers and felt great satisfaction in knowing that others looked to her for affirmation and guidance.  Bethany belonged to the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and was active in School Planning Committees. Because she has a heart for reaching hurting and broken children with a message of hope and healing, she passionately served on the Board of Directors of the Least of These Foundation for several years.

Determined to see all of her dreams come to life, Bethany is now involved in publishing a children’s book series called the Sweet Radiance Series. This inspirational collection of poetic stories encourages young children to love themselves and love others.

As Executive Director of The Radiance Foundation, Bethany’s expertise, passion, and leadership ability will make the vision a reality. Together with its partners, Bethany believes that The Radiance Foundation will affect change throughout our nation and abroad.
